Who operates HushCare
HushCare is a service brand operated by Syaila Pty Ltd, ABN 18 635 773 750, in Victoria 3128, Australia. This policy describes how we handle personal information collected through the HushCare website and during early service enquiries and assessments.
Information we collect
When you submit an enquiry, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, suburb or postcode, enquiry role, service type, preferred plan and message. We may also receive the page you visited, referral and campaign information, browser or device details and other technical information associated with the request.
Sensitive information
Please do not send medical records or detailed clinical information through the website form. If you voluntarily provide health, disability or care information that is relevant to your enquiry, we will use it only to respond, assess the service context and take reasonable steps to handle it appropriately. We may ask for consent or further information before progressing an assessment.
How we use information
We use personal information to respond to enquiries, understand the home and care setting, discuss response contacts, assess whether HushCare may be suitable, arrange follow-up, maintain enquiry records, improve the website and protect our systems. We may also use information where required or permitted by law.
Analytics and website data
The website uses Vercel Analytics and may use Google Analytics when enabled. These services process technical and usage information such as page visits, approximate location, browser type and conversion events. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies according to Google's settings and policies.
Service providers and disclosure
We use service providers to operate the website and process enquiries, including Vercel for hosting and analytics, Supabase for lead storage, Resend for email notifications and Google Analytics when enabled. Selected service plans may also involve professional monitoring or other service partners. We disclose only the information reasonably needed for the relevant purpose, agreement or legal requirement. We do not sell personal information.
Storage and overseas processing
Depending on provider configuration, personal information may be stored or processed using cloud infrastructure outside Australia. We take reasonable steps when selecting and configuring providers, but their own privacy terms and data locations also apply.
Camera verification and consent
PIR camera verification is event-based and is not presented as continuous recording. It requires consent from the resident or authorised representative before use. Access and notification arrangements are discussed as part of the home assessment and selected service plan.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to manage the enquiry, provide an agreed service, meet legal or operational requirements and resolve issues. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask to access or correct personal information we hold about you, or raise a privacy concern, by emailing info@syaila.com.au. Please provide enough detail for us to identify the relevant record and respond. We may need to verify your identity before releasing or changing information.
